PM SHRI stands for Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India. It’s a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India to develop a safe and stimulating learning environment in schools. The scheme’s goals include: Ensuring that all students feel welcomed and cared for Offering a wide range of learning experiences Providing good physical infrastructure and resources for learning The scheme is being implemented over five years, from 2022–2023 to 2026–2027. The guiding framework for the scheme is divided into three parts: Part I: Focuses on the pillars of PM SHRI schools, including curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, access, infrastructure, human resources, school leadership, inclusive practices, gender equity, management, monitoring, governance, and beneficiary satisfaction Part II: Outlines programmatic and financial norms, along with activities that schools can undertake to meet the norms Part III: Lays down the School Quality Assessment Framework (SQAF) KV BSF Khajuwala is not a PM SHRI vidyalaya yet.
